Earlier today, Chief Goonswarm diplomat Vile Rat announced that he would be withdrawing his bid for CSM candidate and endorsed Bane Glorious in his stead.

"I think we can all agree that this game has a bunch of problems." He began, "We have specific needs and the Developers have seen fit to grant us a voice in which to properly convey our concerns in a fashion that we know they will be heard. Based off of this I can not in good concience run for this office because while I think I would do a good job, I would not be able to lobby with all the necessary information in a way that the developers would get the best assistance...There is however a candidate that has proven he can both convey information in a logical well thought out manner and present his ideas in a way that not only will the concerns be addressed, but in a way that would benefit us the greatest. This candidate is obvious and should receive our full support and his name is Bane Glorious."

He continued: "I don't want a forums superstar to go to the council and while there are several good people running none of them has the proven resume of Bane. Most (not all but most) of us still pay to play this game and want to see it not only get repaired but thrive and it would be difficult to argue that anybody else is as qualified as Bane to really fight for this games future."

Vile Rat's attendance at this session's Council of Stellar Management will be missed, but his graceful departure and endorsement was greatly appreciated by Bane Glorious's lobbying party.
